Das FORSA-„Trendbarometer“ sieht die AfD mit 27% der Wählerstimmen vor der CDU. Diese und die SPD befinden sich im freien Fall. Doch in der Union traut man sich nicht hinter der Brandmauer hervor. Für die Landtagswahlen 2026 deutet diese Realitätsverleugnung auf Erdrutschsiege für die AfD hin. Ein Umdenken ist nicht in Sicht.

Ausgerechnet zum Jom Kippur, dem höchsten jüdischen Feiertag, erreichten die Palästina-Aktivisten um Greta Thunberg die gesperrten Gewässer vor der Küste des Gazastreifens. Die israelische Marine beendete die Aktion und nahm die Besatzung kurzerhand fest. Die hatte eine Weiterleitung der an Bord befindlichen Hilfsgüter abgelehnt.

Lawfare and selective prosecution are fundamentally wrong. It would be best if neither side misused the legal system to „get“ their enemies. The Trump administration obviously believes that asking nicely is not likely to work, and that those who distort the legal system by turning it into „lawfare“ must be held to account in order to stop it.
