In einer großen deutschen Wochenzeitschrift war kürzlich zu lesen, der amerikanische Präsident Donald J. Trump sei ein „libertärer Faschist“. Das ist eine contradictio in adjecto, also ein Widerspruch in sich, denn Faschismus ist eine Extremform des Etatismus, also der Staatsverehrung, wenn man so will, wohingegen der Libertarismus nicht zum Etatismus gehört, sondern diesen ablehnt.
