Die Regierungen der Mitgliedstaaten im Rat der Europäischen Union haben sich auf eine gemeinsame Position zur Chatkontrolle geeinigt. Eine allgemeine Pflicht zur Durchleuchtung privater Kommunikation wird es zunächst nicht geben, aber der erste Schritt über freiwillige Maßnahmen dürfte nun den Weg ebnen.
